OSPEDALE PEDIATRICO BAMBINO GESÙ is partnering with eHealth Hub and its Solution Match service to source a remote monitoring and symptom reporting solution to detect malfunctions with implanted shunts in paediatric patients with hydrocephalus.

The solution needs to be able to immediately identify implanted shunt models at the time of admissions. The system should also be able to estimate the risk of shunt malfunction by remote collection of clinical signs and symptoms, access to follow-up programs and adaptation of follow-up programs to clinical variables.

Step by Step Process

Step 1. European digital health SMEs with relevant solutions are invited to submit an application before September 27th, 2018.

Step 2. The Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù team will review submissions and evaluate their potential based on the specific requirements described in the brief.

Step 3. SMEs pre-selected by Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù will have an opportunity to present their solution in greater detail and discuss various types of business collaborations.

Selection Process:

April 10 - September 27, 2018: Open call for applications
October 2018: Application review by Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù
October 2018: Final feedback to SMEs and selection of
potential partners.
